The Context Pack Evaluator asks for the source passages that must survive a compacting workflow. It reports how much context changed and whether each required span was retained in the returned pack.
01 // Declare
Provide source documents, a task and budget, then list exact required evidence spans with their source IDs.
02 // Compile
The deterministic compiler ranks, deduplicates and bounds context. No AI model judges the material.
03 // Report
Receive token/byte metrics, source coverage, duplicate removal, and an exact retained-or-omitted result for each declared span.
Retained means the exact required source span appears in an included passage from its declared source. Omitted means it does not. Neither result establishes factual accuracy, model answer quality, legal compliance, or downstream hallucination behavior.
Use repeated, representative evaluations to establish a baseline for a specific workflow. Publish the task, budget, source count, required-evidence definition and measured results. Do not generalize one benchmark into a universal savings promise.
